About Compagnie Du Ponant Yacht Cruises
Ponant, a French luxury cruise line, has a unique variety of vessels sailing to far-flung destinations around the world. They have their iconic sailing yacht, called Le Ponant, four expedition “Sisterships,” and six “Ponant Explorers” ships, the latter of which have just 92 guest cabins each. The fleet also includes one expedition ship designed specifically for polar conditions, called Le Commandant-Charcot.
Common across all four of Ponant’s types of ships is the level of service and luxury that passengers will find throughout. The line offers guests the classic yachting experience — a refined, laid-back atmosphere with crew members that know your name and tastes.
