Don't be afraid to checkout the buffet instead of the dining room. We actually felt the food was just as good.

Pick a different ship. Carnival has many other ships that are in better shape and more enjoyable

Good ship, but not great. A lot of signs of age. Needs an overhaul and to be brought more up to date.

If you smoke (my husband does), you can smoke on deck 10 starboard aft and deck 3 (we didn't go there so not sure which side). You can also smoke in the casino but only if you are gambling and only in the back (port side) of the casino, but hey, you get free drinks while gambling! :) Anytime dining is assigned to the aft main dining room and when the sea is rocking, so are you and your tummy, so be prepared but enjoy.

Don't forget to to out on the forward deck of the ship at night! Entrance is on deck 7 at the bow.
